The relevance of e-business in the global context is the premise of this course. Specifically, students will explore the paradigm for developing their business portfolios and crossing from traditional to an online presence. Particularly in the B2B relationships which have emerged, or which have been adapted from more traditional business models.

The learning goals of this unit are to:
1. Explain the Internet business models and enabling technologies, its economics and business strategies.
2. Describe how the Internet is restructuring industries.
3. Determine when accelerated growth strategies are likely to succeed.
