COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course provides fundamental concepts and principles employed by civil engineers. It is divided into two (2) parts: Statics and Dynamics. Statics is the study of forces and their effects on a system in rest and uniform motion. Meanwhile, Dynamics is the study of a system in motion.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
At the end of this course, students should be able to incorporate and utilize principles of applied mechanics in civil and structural engineering problems.
