This course is part of the body of knowledge for nutritionists.  This course will prepare students for courses offered later, i.e. Nutritional status assessment and Community nutrition.  The objective of this course is to allow students to discuss the changing physiology and nutritional requirements as well as related health and nutritional concerns in the different stages of the life cycle - pregnancy, lactation, infancy, childhood, adolescence, adulthood and during the later years of life.
