SYNOPSIS

The course introduces students to both oral and written forms of creative communication in the English language. It develops students’ creativity, fluency and confidence in using the language through communicative tasks, both individually and in group presentation. Students will be taught to produce creative texts based on unconventional ideas and critical input.

EXPECTED LEARNING OUTCOMES:

At the end of the course, students should be able to:

CLO1: Write a critique on the plot and language forms of a story, and a script adapted from a selected film, using unconventional ideas and critical thinking skills.

CLO2: Present the critique fluently in a video presentation and a forum presentation, as well as the script in a creative drama performance.
